Our ambition is to have the public including schools and tourists made aware of the
collection and the importance of ships and seafarers in the Australian Economy. This
organisation has generously gifted the Australian Ocean Literacy Portal project the
educational resources of the Australian Marine Environment Protection Association
(AUSMEPA) from the closure of that organisation in 2020
