It includes safety tips, fact sheets developed for multilingual communities, subtitled safety videos, and personal stories from people who have experienced dangers firsthand.
Annie & the Waves Book
Annie and the Waves is a children’s storybook that follows Annie’s beach holiday and her growing confidence as she meets surf lifesavers and learns about waves, beach safety, and asking for help when needed. It highlights key safety messages such as swimming between the flags, raising your hand if in trouble, and choosing safe beaches. The page also offers a related interactive session of 20 to 25 minutes for young children to virtually engage with lifesavers and explore these concepts.
