This unit uses clips from Blue to inspire learning about the ocean and the impact of human behaviour on its health. Lessons incorporate mindfulness, storytelling, drama, music, design thinking, scientific inquiry, and marine turtle conservation.

This English unit develops students’ ocean literacy through Blueback, using film clips, texts, and conservation data to explore sustainable ocean practices and key marine conservation topics in Australia.
